Trezy 3.0 is in public beta!

Trezy 3.0 beta

We're happy to announce the launch of the public beta of a redesigned Trezy! As an opt-out beta this means all new & existing accounts will automatically have access to these new views, and no action is required from the users end.

What's New:

  • A clean, intuitive interface for a better user experience
  • Improved navigation and presentation of your cash flow data
  • Enhanced functionality for easier financial management

Since this is a beta test, your feedback is incredibly important to us. We value your insights and would greatly appreciate any comments or suggestions you have regarding the new features and design. Please don't hesitate to share your thoughts.

If, after testing the beta, you prefer to continue using the current version of Trezy, simply let us know, and we'll make the switch for you. Your satisfaction is our priority, and we want to ensure you have the best experience possible.

All current users existing data, including forecasts, reports, and connected bank accounts/transactions, will remain unchanged. The only difference is that it will be presented in the new, clean interface.

If you encounter any issues during your testing or have any questions, please reach out to us immediately. We're here to assist you every step of the way.

A new & improved way to sync up your bank!

We've recently made the decision to work with a new open banking partner - Plaid. This new integration will allow users to more easily connect to over 12,000 financial institutions across the UK & EU more seamlessly. And it’s of course fully compliant with the PSD2 compliant.

In the first of a series of UI and UX improvements we will be making we’ve recently launched a brand new sign up experience. This is not just a facelift. The new sign up experience better flows into helping a user more easily set up their bank connection via plaid and will be the first step of a much improved onboarding experience.

Upping our game when it comes to auto-classification!

Over the few months we have been focusing hard on ensuring that Trezy has the fastest and most accurate banking classification technology on the market. So we’re happy to announce that in this period we have improved the classification accuracy from 60.99% to 95.69%! And we will continue to work on our algorithm to ensure we get closer to 100% accuracy in the future.

You can now analyse 700 business sectors across France!

We’ve recently launched some exciting changes to The database already provided free financial information and analysis on over 2 million companies across Europe and from today it allows you to analyse this data at the industry level.

Just like analysing an individual company, the industry analysis allows you to view a consolidated cash flow for those sectors, performance ratios and how it benchmarks against over industries.

This analysis is available for the French market at launch but we hope to expand this across Europe in the near future.

We’ve made further improvements to by adding an evaluation of every business in our database - generated with Trezy A.I. 

Trezy will now give a condensed analysis of each business as well as recommendations to improve financial health and a comparison with other businesses in the same sector.

For several months now, Trezy has provided free access to financial data from 2 million French companies. We've also upgraded our platform, enhancing the user experience and interface to offer new ways to visualize and analyze the data of these companies within their respective sectors.   • We fixed an issue in which some transactions that had had their categorisation overwritten by the user would revert back to Trezy’s original classification.
  • Bank syncing errors - We fixed a bug with our open banking provider that was causing some accounts to stop syncing bank transactions

Made several small improvements to automatic subcategory creation (beta) to ensure categories are only automatically created for relevant transactions

  • Removed several redundant links and legacy features from the user settings view
  • Further improved the Trezy classifier to increase the accuracy of transaction classifications for users with limited transactions or no manually categorised transactions
  • Fixed a translations issue with the benchmarking feature to display industry names in French for users with French language preference.

Automatic Subcategory Creation (Closed Beta)

We have started testing in closed beta the automatic creation of transaction sub-categories based on transaction descriptions. With this improvement we hope to make the Trezy setup even faster and more accurate than ever!

  • Fixed issues where the Trezy sign up flow would display in English for French users.
  • We made small updates to the new benchmarking feature (beta) based on user feedback to ensure certain calculations displayed correctly.
  • Fixed an issue that was causing transactions to be ordered incorrectly when sorting by amount.
  • Fixed a small issue that was not allowing some users to bulk re-categorise transactions.
  • Made a small UX fix to transaction categorisation to improve the update speed when choosing a new category.
  • Fixed a bug that caused our classifier to return a category that has the opposite transaction type (inflow/outflow) than the analysed transaction.

Trezy Benchmarking is now in Beta!

Importing transactions just got easier!

We know Trezy is at its most powerful when you can feed it as much historical data as possible. Therefore we’ve made significant improvements to the experience of importing bank transactions.

The improved feature will now allow you to select and map the correct columns to import, set the import to and from dates based on the first and last dated transaction in the file, and preview what these transaction rows will look like.

Users can now also set the bank balance at the time of the “import from” date to ensure cash flow history displays correctly.

  • Further styling improvements to the cashflow screen on mobile - These improvements further improve the usability of the cash flow table on mobile screens.
  • Fixed an issue where in some cases the cash flow view was not being correctly displayed for newly created accounts.
  • Fixed an issue where created rules were being reverted 
  • Fixed an issue that meant users have been unable to split a transaction once a document had been linked

We’re continuing to improve the Trezy experience when browsing from Mobile! We’ve updated the mobile cash flow view to significantly improve users ability to analyse the charts and create/update their forecasts! More to come soon!

Improvements to user notifications

We have made several backend changes that will allow for more timely and useful user alerts and notifications such as a daily cash update and alerts for negative cash flow forecast.


  • Fixed an issue where some transaction descriptions incorrectly displayed as ‘XXX’.
  • Removed and updated several faulty links in the balance sheet that displayed missing content.
  • Updated our industry benchmarking database to ensure that all financial reports display numbers in the correct formats and currencies.
  • We fixed an issue that sometimes transaction were categorised with opposite transaction type category by auto classifier
  • Fixed an issue with the cash flow visualisation that was displaying missing or incomplete data in the table for certain historic periods.
  • Fixed a issue where a small number of users were seeing incorrect balances listed against some of their connected bank accounts.

Improving the Trezy Mobile Experience

We have made a number of significant changes to the design of Trezy when browsing from a mobile device.This includes a more polished sign up and sign in experience, a new mobile menu and major improvements to browsing and editing transactions.
